Sharjah
The Emirate of Sharjah is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, and it is the third largest emirate in terms of area in the country, covering 2,590 square kilometers, with a population of about 1.8 million people (2022 AD).
The emirate includes Sharjah International Airport, which accommodates 8 million passengers annually, and work is underway to raise its capacity to 20 million. It is the official headquarters of Air Arabia, which is considered the first low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa region. The emirate also has three ports and 6 free zones, and includes Sharjah has more than 28 industrial zones, which account for more than 48% of the industrial output of the United Arab Emirates
Expo Center Sharjah is one of the most famous trade exhibition centers in the region, and hosts several well-known events of interest to both companies and consumers, including the Sharjah International Book Fair, which is considered the largest book fair in the world.
