Job Description
FLY OYA, a leading aviation organization, is seeking a highly experienced CAMO Engineer to join our team. As a CAMO Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the airworthiness and maintenance activities of our aircraft fleet. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in CAMO engineering and a strong background in aviation maintenance and airworthiness management. Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive airworthiness management programs for our aircraft fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, manufacturer’s instructions, and industry best practices. Create and manage maintenance schedules and plans, coordinating with maintenance providers to optimize maintenance efficiency and minimize aircraft downtime. Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical records and documentation related to aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications, and inspections. Monitor and analyze aircraft reliability data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement in maintenance procedures, aiming to enhance aircraft reliability and optimize maintenance programs. Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations, such as those set by the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and stay updated with regulatory changes to maintain airworthiness in accordance with applicable requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel and other stakeholders, assisting in troubleshooting technical issues, interpreting maintenance manuals, and resolving complex technical problems. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, maintenance providers, aircraft manufacturers, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless coordination of maintenance activities and compliance with airworthiness standards. Stay updated with advancements in aircraft technology, maintenance practices, and regulatory changes, continuously seeking opportunities to improve maintenance processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall aircraft airworthiness. Requirements: A minimum of 10 years of experience in CAMO engineering or a related field within the aviation industry. In-depth knowledge of airworthiness regulations, such as LYCAA, FAA and EASA requirements, and industry best practices. Strong experience in developing and implementing airworthiness management programs for aircraft. Excellent understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures, documentation, and technical records. Proficiency in analyzing aircraft reliability data and implementing improvements based on data insights. Familiarity with safety management systems and risk assessment methodologies. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Relevant certifications and qualifications in aviation maintenance, airworthiness management, or a related field.
